3-31-11

in 20 days, april 19th, PORTAL 2 comes out!! i've pre-ordered it a while ago, and i don't have the money for it, but hopefully i will tomorrow. because a few months ago, me and some friends went to help move frozen food from a flipped semi to another normal one, worked for 4 hours, with $20/hour. pretty good i say, so that's $80 towards portal!! the game i knew was gunna be at least $50, i was prepared for it, because it's gunna be awesome. once i was playing mw2 with james and his friend and this other kid was saying he wouldn't pay anything over 20 for it, and i was saying i'll pay around 50 for it, 60 if need be. and it is about 54 dollars, and so i'll need to save the whole 80 just for fun. i've spent a few monies for my xbox so far, the console itself was 120, including the best game ever, mw2. and i bought the orange box, for 20, and a 20 gig hard drive for 20, and a controller for around 15, and like three 1600 points cards for 21, and a memory card for 14, and i think that's it.. i lost 5 to trying to buy 400 points, but it never went through.. oh and 10 for a mic. the games i have are cod mw2, cod black ops, orange box, lego harry potter, and need for speed hot pursuit.. i'm okay with nfs, but i don't like harry potter very much. tomorrow is april 1st, which means that it's the day we moved in like 12 years ago, and it's also my buddy, tony's b-day. and of course, april fool's day, i hate that day, it's useless, idk why it's even there. but on my birthday, the 29th, my work buddy, Mena, is making me some apple crisp for my b-day! i wonder if my mum will get me some reese's..... hmmmm reeses.. i've not had that goodness for a long long time!! i used to eat a lot of it every day! so much that geoff can't believe i'm still alive, or not even fat! i guess i have a high motabolism, i don't know much about that, but it's okay with me when i eat a bunch of crap and not get too fat from it, i weigh like 205 the other day, so it's like that's my normal weight. the other day, two days ago, i went to the mall and got some sweet neon green van shoes! i've been wanting some cool shoes like that lately,, i saw my friend, Rans wearing some red ones and i told my other friend, catherine, and she said to get the neon green with black laces, and that's what i got because it's amazing colour.. and super bright outside, i was blinded when i walked out there the other day,, i also got matching suspenders... i like wearing cool stuff like that! okay, now i'm done, i even typed pretty fast, and now i'm slowing down/ messing up a lot

It's been forever since i was last here...

So i think it's time for a new post.. recently my family and i traveled down to san diego cali, it was a fun trip, i saw a sign for a road called Zzyzx, it was weird, i thought it was for that alphabet game people play. but we stayed at a cool hotel and got a suite room, haha sweet.. well it was big and we've never gotten a huge room like that before. anyway.. we went to seaworld on wed. and stayed there all day, it was fun i liked the penguins and the roller coaster atlantis..thing... and we go to see the sharks and there was a barracuda in a tank, and i'm like: that's one of the fastest fish ever and it dosen't look like it could get that much speed...oh well it was cool and there were baby sharks and hammer heads, i love the sharks.
related to sharks are these bat ray things, which are way cool, i was freaking out cuz i wanted to touch one, but everyone said they feel weird so i couldn't do it.. but eventually i did and it was totally weird.. like snot and bone, but there was no bone, just that cartillage stuff. then on thursdee we went to a dog beach, we didn't know where we were going so we just follwed some guy who must've known where he was going. it was cool i love beaches, sandy beaches though, i do like rocky beaches, you just can't run around bare foot...
on the way home we stopped in Vegas and went to the Wynn hotel and visited the Ferrari museum,, it was AMAZING!!! there was a koenigsegg, which i thought i would never in my life see.!! then the strip was getting bad so we left.
the end

stupidness

yesterday i was coming home from macey's and i tried to cross centre street, and i couldn't, then i found myself in the middle of the road, so i went to back up, and i bumped into the guy who was behind me that wasn't there a second ago.
so we looked at our bumpers and nothing was wrong and i was ready for some things he might make me do, but instead, he just said bye and i was like are you serious, and really? then i thanked him and finally found a way through, and now i don't want to drive for a while.

Big Man on Campus...Manly Contest on Manlyness

Ok, so over the weekend, on Saturday, it was Big Man on Campus, and I participated in it, and amazazingly I won Mr. Congeniality!! and like $25 to Gear 4 Guys, whatever that is. So yeah, the other winners are as follows: Tony A, Cole F, and Toby (Corbin) L. Tony got Mr. ALA and $50, along with a pedicure and facial thing, sounds girly, but when explained, it sounds very good, I want one, like a face massage, oohh yeah....
We had to do some things like Active Wear, Dance, Perfect Date, Talent, and an Interview with Evening Wear. What I did for my Active Wear is wore a Bio-Hazard Suit thing and a gas mask, which was an awesome outfit, everyone loved it, I also had a golf club, cuz I like to drive. The dance was so fun, thanks to a good friend of mine, Sadee, she made up the dance moves for us, like Ballet, Cha Cha, and some Boy band things, it was really funny learing it all, then doing it in front of all my adoring fans, hahaha. For my talent, I did a little Pagoda Challenge puzzle, I messed up twice, but it's still good, then my perfect date was pretty cool I think, even though other guys had better ones, but anyway, the interview was two questions: one funny and one serious, I didn't really like the questions they asked me, but my answers were good, the crowd liked them.
Evening Wear was just my pajamas. When it was time to announce the winners, we all lined up and the host guy, Mr. Carpenter, talkied a bit about what makes up Mr. Congeniality, and when he called my name, I couldn't believe it at first, I was so excited, even though I didn't really show it, I'm not too good at showing my emotions, oh well, but it was awesome. A little while before, Mrs. Pullman called us out to vote for this guy, and I sure wasn't gunna vote for myself, so I voted for Tony, but he got what he deserves, I don't know how much votes I got, but I'm really glad I did this whole thing, at first I didn't want to do it, just sit back and watch them do it, and laugh at them, but it's alot better doing it, and now people notice me at school, which is someitmes good, well it's good to get noticed for doing good things and not bad things, but infamy is cool, hahaha, back on topic.
I wish I got a crown...

Stupid School Buses

For those of you who want to know, even though I have already told alot of people about it, it's sometimes good to remember the good times, even if this time wasn't so good at the time.
One day in 7th grade I was on my way to Spanish Fork Middle School on my bike, and on the way there I have to pass in front of the Spanish Fork Junior High School. So, I approached the place where the school buses leave, (I can't remember what it's called) and a bus was comming out to leave and go to other schools I guess, it stopped, I stopped, then it all happened so fast, I don't know exactly how, but the next thing I knew, I was looking at the bottom of the bus repeatedly saying "crap." Then I reached up and pulled myself out from under the bus and sat on the curb, as if nothing had happened, that's when the driver came out and yelled at me "What do you think you're doing?" I just looked at him, saying nothing.
Then some people were gathered around me asking if I was okay and one guy was checking my head for anything, I dunno, and also there was a girl there too, and I must say, she was quite pretty, I don't know if it was because I was just run over by a bus, or she really was, but I tried not to stare. The guy asked if I wanted to use his cell phone to call my dad, so I did and I can't remember exactly what I said, but it could be along the lines of "Hey, dad, could you come down here?" I don't think I said what had happened. In the meantime, I was just sitting there looking at the people driving by, and some of them were my neighbours, I just waved at them as they drove by looking at me. When my dad finally got there, I stood up and waited for the ambulence to come, I don't remember what we did to pass the time, probably talked to the bus driver, I do remember the remaining kids getting off the bus and looking at me and under the bus at my bike.
When the ambulence came, one of the nurses stepped out and asked "Where's the vitcim?" Me being that young kinda freaked out because I only thought that victims were dead people. But I stepped forwards and they took my blood pressure and what not. As most people know, the cops go where ambulences go, or vise versa, but still, the a cop was there and my dad talked to him and the bus driver, (they had their own little trianlge of talk) and I just stood around, I think the bus driver asked me if I was alright, I said I was, and I think it was then or later when he told me this but I'll write it now anyway: The driver was telling me that as he was pulling out, he heard a sickening crunch or other noise, that made him feel sick, and that's when he stopped.
So the insurance company was supposed to give me $200 for a new bike, guess what? I never got anything! Quite maddening If you ask me. So now, I think I will say how I think I was positioned under the bus: first of all, I was wearing my backpack, (even the one I still have now, for those of you who have seen me wear it) which was packed full of books and papers, so that helped save my life, kept my head up from hitting the ground or something. And my right leg was sorta jammed onder the front right tyre of the bus, but thank goodness, nothing was broken, but I did have an invisible bruise on my leg, I call it invisible because there was not visible bruise on my skin, and there was nothing on the X-ray, no fracture or anything, but I did limp for a week or so afterwards. I have no idea how my bike ended up where it did, it was so mangled I am so glad I wasn't, my mom took pictures of it afterwords, the tyres were bent like tacos and I had a really nice gel seat cover, but what was left of it was like someone spilled green jello out of the bowl, it got bad road rash. So at home, my mom gave me the choice to go to school or stay home and go to the doctors, of course I stayed home, getting run over by a bus is a dang good excuse to stay home. At the doctors I got the X-ray that was fine, so we went home and I think I just watched TV for the rest of the day. My mom called to excuse me and later she told me that the secretary already knew about some kid getting run-over, but didn't know who it was, and she got all excited that it was me.
The next day at school, my English class was all over me asking me what happened and so I told them, which they liked the story. Then later near the end of the day, my TLC teacher was telling me what his reaction was when he heard that it was me, he said that he freaked out and the class was also freaking becuase he told them it was me, so that was yet another class that already knew about me. But there were also some kids who knew nothing about it, I tried to have one of my friends guess what happened to me, he had no idea, so I had to tell him, but he didn't seem so excited as the secretary.
There you have it, the infamous story of me getting run-over by a stupid school bus.
P.S. Later on in my life, in 9th grade, I was telling my class this story and one of the kids was kinda mad at me becuase the driver was her grandfather, and I forgot to mention that he was fired from his job, but now if I had anything to say about it, I would let him keep his job, it was just an accident, I found out where buses' blind spots are and now I keep away from them as much as possible. Oh yeah, I forget alot of things, but this isn't part of the accident part, but afterwords when the rest of my family knew about it, my cousins sent me a card with a bus on it and two Hot Wheels buses, I still have them, one is pretty cool, it's got surfboards sticking out the back. THE END
